Our agency, in conjunction with Advent Financial Systems, has developed an underage drinking diversion program. This diversion program provides underage, first time offenders, the opportunity to avoid criminal prosecution by completing an on-line education course. If the course is successfully completed it will result in a dismissal of their criminal citation or charge and will remove the offense(s) from their record. The ultimate goal of this course is to educate these young individuals and help element underage drinking in Southwest Florida.
