The inaugural State Attorney’s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation “Striking Out Crime” Bowling Tournament was a success raising more than $14,000 for Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. The event was held at HeadPinz in Fort Myers on Saturday.
Law enforcement agencies from throughout Southwest Florida competed in the bowling tournament with the Alpha Team from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office taking first place. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office won second place. Each team was awarded a trophy by State Attorney Amira Fox.
“We want to thank all of the agencies who participated. It was a great day watching as law enforcement and their families relaxed and enjoyed the tournament. I want to thank all of the men and women of law enforcement again, for the hard work they do each day to keep us all safe,” said State Attorney Fox.
