TAMPERING WITH OR HARASSING A VICTIM OR WITNESS IS A FELONY IN FLORIDA!

• The Defendant may blame you for the arrest, attempt to make you feel guilty, or claim to be the victim.
• The Defendant may try to talk you out of appearing for Court.
• The Defendant may threaten you for cooperating in the prosecution.
• The Defendant may demand that you “drop the charges.”

No matter what they do . . . the State of Florida is responsible for bringing criminal charges, not you!

• If you are threatened or being pressured to drop charges or change your story, safely keep a record of these incidents and notify law enforcement or our office immediately.
