Assistant State Attorneys Scott Patterson and Kristan Burns are prosecuting the case.
“This is the third indictment from the Charlotte County Grand Jury in a day. I want to thank them for their time and attention to the evidence. The detailed investigation of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was integral to being able to present this case to the Grand Jury. I want to thank Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell and his staff for their excellent work,” said State Attorney Fox.
“Our thoughts are with the victim’s family. As the State Attorney’s Office has demonstrated many times, those who choose to profit from the misery of others and sell or distribute drugs, that we can prove caused death, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” said State Attorney Fox.
