Conviction in Aggravated Battery Case

Allyson Christian Landreth was convicted of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

In August 2024, she asked a woman she had been arguing with via text message, to meet her at a convenience store in Fort Myers store. Just after the victim arrived, the defendant pulled a knife out of her waistband and cut the victim’s arm.

The defendant then fled to nearby apartments and told a resident that she had just stabbed someone and thrown the knife in a pond.

Assistant State Attorney Noah Anderson and Assistant State Attorney Zachary Haefeli prosecuted the case.

The Fort Myers Police Department handled the investigation.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 28, 2025.
