Cocaine Trafficker Arrested by NETFORCE Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

Drug trafficker Keenan Dennard Frederick, arrested during the first NETFORCE operation, was sentenced to 20 years in prison and fined $200,000 this morning. The sentence is for his conviction of Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine – 400 Grams or More, following his trial in August.

Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney John W. Dommerich, Jr. and Hendry/Glades County Circuit Court Chief Assistant State Attorney Natalie Savino prosecuted the case.

The defendant supplied cocaine from the east coast of Florida to a co-defendant who was also arrested in the operation. He sold two kilos of cocaine that were transported back to Southwest Florida.

Broward County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force assisted NETFORCE in the investigation.

NETFORCE was formed by State Attorney Amira Fox in conjunction with law enforcement agency partners to coordinate a circuit-wide approach to infiltrating and dismantling drug trafficking organizations, organized crime, racketeering, and money-laundering enterprises in Southwest Florida.
