25 Years in Prison for Child Pornography

Jeremie Ronald Buen, 42, of Ocala, has been adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by 15 years of sex offender probation, for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 10 counts of Transmission of Child Pornography.

Assistant State Attorney Stephen Hawley of the Special Victim’s Unit prosecuted the case.

In 2025, a cyber tip was received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about child pornography on a device linked to the defendant.

Detectives with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Innocent Images Unit conducted an investigation, which led to the arrest of the defendant.
