Jose Enrique DeJesus was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to life in prison for Robbery with a Firearm. The defendant was convicted following a July trial in Lee County.
Assistant State Attorney Melanie Sanders and Certified Legal Intern Yanila Noy prosecuted the case.
The defendant was involved in a robbery outside of a home in Lee County. The victim was robbed of their personal belongings, including a phone, jewelry and cash. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
There is a co-defendant pending trial.
