25 Year Sentence in Sexual Battery Case

Kevin Michael Green, of North Fort Myers, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 25 years in prison, followed by 5 years of sex offender probation, for Sexual Battery When Victim Helpless. The defendant was also designated a Sexual Predator. He was convicted in October following a jury trial in Lee County.

Assistant State Attorneys Thomas Guthrie and Stephen Hawley prosecuted the case.

On or about September 1, 2024, in North Fort Myers, the defendant committed sexual battery on the victim in a shed, in the yard of a residential property. The victim immediately called a friend to help her get medical attention and call law enforcement.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit handled the investigation.
