80 Years in Prison in Child Pornography Case

William John Scott Tulko Jr., of Cape Coral, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 80 years in prison today for ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Transmission of Child Pornography. He was also designated a Sex Offender.

The defendant pled open to the court; this is not a plea agreement. Defendants have the right to plea to the court for sentencing and give up their right to a jury trial.

The case was prosecuted by Special Victims Unit Assistant State Attorneys Adam Sullivan and Christine Cummins.

In 2022, the defendant was reported to law enforcement in Texas by an online gamer who saw the content of what the defendant was sharing. The tip was reported to the Cape Coral Police Department and an investigation led to the arrest of the defendant.
