Cameron Mikkell Eston Williams has been convicted of Second Degree Murder with a Firearm for shooting and killing a man in Lehigh Acres.
Assistant State Attorney Hamid Hunter, of the State Attorney’s Office Homicide Unit, prosecuted the case. The jury returned the guilty verdict following a four-day trial in Lee County.
The murder happened on May 3, 2023. The victim was lured to a location in Lehigh, then shot and killed by the defendant. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and handled the investigation.
A co-defendant has a pending case.
