NETFORCE OPERATION

Today State Attorney Amira Fox announces that nine people have been arrested for drug trafficking, following an undercover drug surveillance operation by the State Attorney’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Task Force (NETFORCE).

NETFORCE members from Homeland Security, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Fort Myers Police Department, Cape Coral Police Department, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, U.S Customs and Border Protection, ATF, and the Lee County Port Authority Police worked this extensive investigation.

Operation Miller Time involved months of investigation and surveillance by multiple NETFORCE agency partners, and in recent days, numerous warrants being served, and search warrants being executed, in Lee and Collier Counties.

Homes in Lehigh Acres, Fort Myers, Naples, and other areas of Collier County were searched. Nearly 4 kilos of cocaine were seized, 90 grams of Fentanyl, 69 grams of MDMA, 375 grams of marijuana, two AR-15 weapons, and $61,127 in currency.

The investigation led to Freddie Lee Miller who was arrested for many charges, including conspiracy, to traffic various drugs. The evidence showed Miller had drugs stashed at houses in two counties. Surveillance also led to the arrests of Bobby Dennis, Martin Andre, Joshua Miller, Anthony Clark, Travis Williams, Jearld Brown, Paul Ontano, and Dwayne Broughton.

“I am extremely proud of the months of work that led to these drug trafficking arrests and the seizure of so many dangerous drugs off our streets. Let me be very clear, with this incredible NETFORCE law enforcement team, there is no safe haven. We will dismantle your networks and seize your assets. Those who make a living selling this poison and profiting off the misery of others will be prosecuted, to the fullest extent of the law,” said State Attorney Amira Fox.

State Attorney Amira Fox created NETFORCE in 2020, to coordinate a circuit-wide approach to identifying, investigating, and dismantling long-term organized crime, narcotics, racketeering, and money-laundering criminal enterprises. This is NETFORCE’s fourth operation.
