John White was adjudicated guilty on two counts of Sexual Activity with Animals and four counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He was sentenced to 73.5 months in prison, followed by 84 months of sex offender probation.
The defendant was also ordered to have no possession of animals or live with any animals during his probation. He was also put on the Animal Abuser Registry which tracks any person who has been convicted with a felony and/or misdemeanor involving animal abuse and cruelty offenses.
His wife, Samantha Lee White, was adjudicated guilty in April, in the same case, and sentenced to 3 years in prison, followed by 3 years of probation, for Sexual Activity with an Animal. She was also ordered to have no possession of animals or live with any animals during her probation and was put on the Animal Abuser Registry.
Assistant State Attorney Stephanie Russell, Lee County Circuit Court Chief, and Assistant State Attorney Natalie Savino, Hendry/Glades County Circuit Court Chief, prosecuted the cases.
The defendants were arrested in February 2024 following an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
