Trafficking Amounts of Fentanyl and Cocaine Seized

Today ten kilograms of cocaine and nearly five kilograms of Fentanyl are off the streets, seized in Texas by Homeland Security, from an investigation that originated in Southwest Florida, by the Narcotics Enforcement Task Force (NETFORCE).

In 2023, a long-term NETFORCE investigation, “Operation All in the Family,” led to the arrest of 31 individuals responsible for the trafficking and distribution of Fentanyl, cocaine, and other narcotics in Southwest Florida.

After making those arrests, members of NETFORCE and Federal partners, continued to develop witnesses and gather further information related to the sources of supply of those narcotics, as well as the narcotics distribution chains into the area.

The subsequent investigation led to the location and seizure of trafficking amounts of cocaine and Fentanyl.

State Attorney Amira Fox created NETFORCE to coordinate a circuit-wide approach to identifying, investigating, and dismantling long-term organized crime, narcotics, racketeering, and money- laundering criminal enterprises.

Evidence photos of the drugs seized are below.
