Michael Wooley, of North Fort Myers, was sentenced to two life sentences for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation of a Child Less Than 12 Years of Age and Familial or Custodial Sexual Battery. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Lewd or Lascivious Conduct. He was sentenced to the maximum on all counts.
Assistant State Attorney Christine Cummins, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case.
The defendant started sexually abusing the child victim at 6 years old until the child victim was 12 years of age. The child victim made disclosures of sexual abuse in a child protection team interview.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case.
