12 Years in Prison for Possession of Child Pornography

Josue Andres Centeno was sentenced to 12 years in prison for ten counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He must also now register as a Lifetime Sexual Offender.
The defendant pled guilty to the charges this morning, just before his trial was about to start in Lee County.

Centeno was caught after a cyber tip was provided to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office from Google and Facebook in 2020. Their investigation led them to the Fort Myers home of the defendant.

A search warrant was served on Google and child pornography was found on the defendant’s Google drive. The defendant had uploaded the illegal material and stored it there.

Assistant State Attorney Natalie Savino prosecuted the case.
