Rondan Keith, of Cape Coral, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to prison, as a Habitual Violent Felony Offender (HVFO), for his crimes against a woman who wanted him to leave her alone.
The defendant was sentenced as follows:
Count I: Robbery by Sudden Snatching – Sentenced to 10 years in prison as an HVFO
Count II: Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon – Sentenced to 15 years in prison as an HVFO, followed by 5 years of probation
Count III: Aggravated Stalking (Cyber Stalking) – Sentenced to 10 years in prison as an HVFO
Count IV: Tampering with a Witness, Victim, or Informant – Sentenced to 10 years in prison
The sentences will run concurrently.

Earlier this year, the defendant harassed the victim by sending numerous texts via the phone and messages via social media that were threatening and distressing. He then went to her home to confront her for not responding.
The victim got in her car, but the defendant grabbed her keys to prevent her from leaving. He then pulled out a pocket-knife and placed it on her arm as he threatened her.

The Cape Coral Police arrested the defendant. After his arrest, he continued to reach out to the victim telling her to drop the charges.
