This afternoon in Lee County, Timothy James, 52, of Lehigh Acres, was sentenced to 40 years in prison followed by Lifetime Sex Offender Probation for Custodial
Sexual Battery and Lewd or Lascivious Molestation (Victim Under 12).
The defendant sexually abused a girl, over a period of time, in previous years. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case and arrested James for the crimes in 2018.
Assistant State Attorney Heather Fly and Assistant State Attorney Anastasia Snetkova prosecuted the case.
