Aaron Hernandez Miranda has been found guilty as charged with Sexual Battery and Lewd or Lascivious Molestation. He was found guilty following a two-day trial in Lee County.
Assistant State Attorney Michael Curley, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case.
The crime happened in July 2022, at a home in Lehigh Acres. The defendant committed sexual battery on a child who was asleep when he approached her. The crime was immediately reported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Their investigation led to the arrest of the defendant.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 21, 2023.
