Raleigh Flint was convicted of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia, following a one-day trial in Collier County. Assistant State Attorney Martin Holland prosecuted the case.
The crime happened in February 2024. A Collier County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling in the area of Golden Gate Boulevard East and 8th Street Northeast one early morning. The defendant was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk with no lights, so the deputy conducted a traffic stop.
The deputy was writing a warning and asked the man if he had anything illegal on him. The defendant allowed a search and a metal container containing methamphetamine was found in his pocket. The defendant claimed he found it at a gas station, and it was not his. He was placed under arrest. Sentencing is scheduled for March 5, 2026.
