Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 18 Years in Prison

Nicholas Troemner has been adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 18 years in prison as a Habitual Felony Offender, with 5 of those years as a Prison Releasee Reoffender, on several drug cases in Collier County.

In 2022, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation to stop the sale of illegal drugs. A search warrant was executed at the defendant’s home on Marco Island. Deputies found 200 grams of cocaine and numerous firearms located inside.

The defendant also sold more than 80 grams of cocaine, a trafficking amount of the drug, to an undercover agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

In 2023, a traffic stop was conducted in Collier County and the defendant had drugs and a concealed knife in the vehicle.

Assistant State Attorney Sarah Woodward prosecuted the cases.
