Drug Trafficker Sentenced to 20 Years in Prison

Angela Landron, 55, was sentenced to 20 years in prison followed by 10 years of drug offender probation for Trafficking in Methamphetamine (28-200 grams).

She was found guilty at trial in March in Charlotte County. She was arrested after doing an undercover buy with a confidential informant that was monitored by the Drug Enforcement Administration. Landron was shipping in the drugs from California. The purity level was 97.3% which is high for the drug.

Assistant State Attorneys Caitlin Sorenson and Scott Patterson handled the case. The defendant has two pending drug trafficking cases.
