Guilty as Charged in Drug Case

James Michael Ryan was found guilty as charged of Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The jury returned the guilty verdict
this afternoon, following a one-day trial in Lee County. 

Ryan was arrested in 2021 after an undercover narcotics investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. The defendant was caught on surveillance selling methamphetamine out of his home.

Assistant State Attorney Ryan Pomponio prosecuted the case. Sentencing is scheduled for March 15, 2023.
