Chantai Miasha Brown, 28, of Fort Myers, was found guilty as charged of Trafficking in Eutylone and Possession of Paraphernalia. The jury returned the guilty verdict after 8
p.m. last night following a one-day trial in Lee County.
On June 9, 2021, the Fort Myers Police Department Vice/Narcotics Unit and their SWAT team, executed a search warrant at a duplex in Fort Myers. The defendant was in a bedroom and during a search of that room, law enforcement found over 10 grams of Eutylone, a Schedule I controlled substance.
Other drugs were also found as well as drug paraphernalia, digital scales, small plastic baggies and more items for packaging narcotics. Brown was then taken into custody.
Assistant State Attorney Mikala Makar prosecuted the case. Sentencing is scheduled for April 4th.
