Guilty as Charged in Fentanyl Case

Chesarae Graham has been found guilty as charged of Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent, and Transportation of Drug
Paraphernalia. The jury returned the guilty verdict following a two-day trial in Charlotte County.

On March 10, 2021, the defendant sold 3.5 grams of Fentanyl to a member of the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit working undercover during a drug operation. The defendant met the undercover deputy in an apartment parking lot and took $450 from him for drugs. Graham then retrieved the bag of Fentanyl from a nearby vehicle.

Sentencing is scheduled for August 31, 2023.
