Kevin Oneal Graham has been convicted of Familial or Custodial Sexual Battery, Lewd or Lascivious Conduct, Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, and Transmission of Material Harmful to a Minor. The jury returned the guilty verdict following a three-day trial in Lee County.
Assistant State Attorney Erin Hughes, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit, and Assistant State Attorney Adam Sullivan, prosecuted the case.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit began investigating the defendant in April 2023, after an adult learned of a child possibly being molested by him.
The investigation led to the discovery of evidence that the defendant had texted the child victim numerous times and encouraged the victim to send him nude photographs. The child had also been molested by the defendant at a Lee County residence.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 30, 2024.
