Ramiro Quintana was sentenced to life in prison immediately after being convicted of multiple crimes involving molesting two child victims.
The defendant was convicted of:
• Familial or Custodial Sexual Battery – two counts
• Sexual Battery with Threat of Retaliation – two counts
• Lewd or Lascivious Molestation – two counts
• Aggravated Child Abuse – Malicious Punishment – two counts
Assistant State Attorney Haylie Gutierrez and Assistant State Attorney Circuit Court Chief Natalie Savino prosecuted the case.
The crimes happened for years. One of the victims was able to tell an adult, after the victim themselves became an adult. The defendant was arrested in 2022 following an investigation by the Seminole Police Department.
The jury returned the verdict following a three-day trial in Hendry County.
There is a co-defendant pending trial.
