Life in Prison for Sexual Battery

Christopher Pearson, 52, was sentenced to life in prison for one count of Sexual Battery of a Victim Under 12. He was also sentenced to 25 years in prison on each of two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation of a Victim Under 12, to be served concurrently.

Pearson was sentenced to lifetime sexual offender probation on both of the lewd counts. He was found guilty following a trial in Collier County in January of this year.

The defendant sexually molested two young girls. He had been a family friend of the victims. Pearson was arrested in 2016 following an investigation by the Marco Island Police Department.

Assistant State Attorneys Deborah Cunningham and Kiely Keesler prosecuted the case.
