Maximum Prison Sentence for Child Molester

Norlis Torres Granado, of Miami, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to the maximum of 45 years in prison, in a case involving crimes against a child victim.

The defendant was sentenced to 30 years in prison for Sexual Battery on a Child – 12 years of age or older but less than 18 years and sentenced to a consecutive 15 years in prison for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation.

The defendant was convicted in April, following a trial in Lee County. The case was prosecuted by Assistant State Attorney Adam Sullivan, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit.

The defendant, a friend of the victim’s family, molested the child victim on more than one occasion, in Lee County. The child victim told a parent what happened and they immediately contacted law enforcement.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated the case and arrested the defendant for the crime in February 2025.
