Aaron Hernandez Miranda has been adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 45 years in prison, for molesting a child. He was sentenced to the maximum of 30 years in prison for
Sexual Battery. He was sentenced to the maximum of 15 years in prison for Lewd or Lascivious Molestation. The sentences are consecutive. Miranda was convicted in July following a two-day trial in Lee County.
Assistant State Attorney Michael Curley, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case.
The crime happened in July 2022, at a home in Lehigh Acres. The defendant committed sexual battery on a child who was asleep when he approached her. The crime was immediately reported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office. Their investigation led to the arrest of the defendant.
