Nicasio Florencio Bamaca, 64, of LaBelle, was sentenced to 17 years in prison followed by lifetime Sex Offender Probation after being adjudicated guilty for Familial or Custodial Battery, Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, Lewd or Lascivious Battery, and Impregnating a Minor. He was also designated a Sexual Predator for life.
Just after the jury was selected in a Hendry County courtroom, the defendant pled no contest to the charges.
The Hendry County Sheriff’s Office arrested the defendant in 2020 following an investigation into sexual activity between the defendant and a child victim, which resulted in a pregnancy.
Assistant State Attorney Kimberlee Mitton prosecuted the case.
