Prison Sentence for Home Burglary

Julian Charke Tarin was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglarizing a
home. The charges are one count each of Burglary of a Dwelling, Dealing in Stolen Property,
and False Verification of Ownership/Identification to a Pawnbroker. He was sentenced as a
Prison Releasee Re-offender.

Tarin broke into a home in Fort Myers in 2018. The victims had home security cameras that led
to the identification of the defendant with the investigative work of the Fort Myers Police
Department.

The defendant has pending burglary and theft cases in Hendry and Glades counties.
