Jeremy Roy Hendrix, 40, of Port Charlotte, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 92.1 months in prison, followed by 10 years of probation, for Kidnapping and
Battery.
In 2021, the defendant confined the victim inside of a motel room and physically abused her. She was able to escape and contact the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies conducted an
investigation and located the defendant at the motel, where he was arrested.
Assistant State Attorney Jillian Kuykendall prosecuted the case.
