Prison Sentence for Lewd or Lascivious Battery

Jemeson Ciprius, of Naples, has been adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 15.9 years in prison, for two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery. The defendant pled after a jury
was selected and trial was about to start.

Assistant State Attorney Lawrence Raab and Deputy Chief Assistant State Attorney James Stewart prosecuted the case.

In 2021, the defendant was reported to law enforcement, for engaging in lewd acts with two victims he had befriended on social media.

The Naples Police Department investigated the case leading to the identification and arrest of the defendant.
