Brian Andre Beaulieu, 53, of Englewood, was adjudicated guilty of one count of Sexual Activity with a Child and sentenced to just over 9 years in prison. The 110-month sentence will be
followed by 20 years of Sex Offender Probation. The defendant will also have to register as a Sexual Predator.
The crimes took place over a duration of time. The victim then confided to a friend and law enforcement was contacted. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office investigated, leading to the arrest of Beaulieu.
Assistant State Attorney Jennifer Garczewski prosecuted the case.
