Jeremy Morales was adjudicated guilty on two counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery and was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by 15 years of sex offender probation. The defendant pled guilty to the crimes.
In 2022, a victim told a friend about being abused by the defendant. That friend then told a school employee who contacted authorities. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated and determined there were two victims.
Assistant State Attorney Clark Cary prosecuted the case.
