Sexual Predator Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison

Cristobal Antonio Nicolas, 38, of Bonita Springs, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced today, to 25 years in prison, for one count of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation on a Child Under 12. His sentence will be followed by lifetime Sex Offender Probation. He was also designated a Sexual Predator.

On September 9, 2021, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received information about a past occurred sexual battery that took place at a residence in Lee County. The young victim was contacted by the defendant who sent her inappropriate memes and videos. He was able to get the victim alone and molested her. The defendant told deputies, during their investigation, that he wanted to marry the child.

Assistant State Attorney Erin Hughes, of the State Attorney’s Office Special Victims Unit, prosecuted the case.
