State Attorney Amira Fox was named the 2020 Woman of the Year by the “Ladies Leading
Right” Lee Republican Women of Cape Coral. State Attorney Fox was also awarded the 2020
Trailbazer Award.
Eighteen finalists were selected from the nominees, with six being named Women of Distinction
in their various fields of expertise. The six Women of Distinction were in consideration to be
named the 2020 Woman of the Year.
“It is a great honor to be recognized with so many other women who work so hard for our
community,” said State Attorney Fox.
State Attorney Fox received the award for her dedication to the citizens of Southwest Florida in
her position as State Attorney and for her involvement with so many important community
organizations.
