The State Attorney’s Office 20th Judicial Circuit is closing all offices today at 2 p.m., court schedules permitting, due to the pending hurricane. This is to allow our staff to utilize that time to prepare for the storm.
The State Attorney’s Office Hurricane Response Team stands ready to prosecute anyone taking advantage of citizens after a hurricane.
“The team was created by me as part of our Economic Crimes Unit so that citizens are protected at one of their most vulnerable times from unscrupulous criminal conduct,” said State Attorney Amira Fox.
Our offices will be closed on Monday for the holiday and we will continue to monitor the storm over the weekend. We will announce any further office closures. The State Attorney’s Office reminds citizens to stay vigilant before, during and after the storm.
