SWFL Drug Dealer and Drug Supplier Sentenced to 25 Years in Prison

A drug trafficker and drug supplier to other drug dealers in Southwest Florida, Alfredo Rojas, 33, of Fort Myers, was sentenced to 25 years in prison today.

Assistant State Attorney Olivia Ferrell and Assistant Circuit Court Chief Erin Hughes prosecuted the four drug cases.

The defendant went by the street name “Fredo.” The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received information about him actively trafficking narcotics in Southwest Florida and started an investigation.

In October 2024, the defendant sold cocaine to undercover detectives. He was charged with 4 counts of Trafficking in Cocaine -28 grams or more.

In January, he was arrested after selling drugs to a confidential informant. He was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine – 28 grams or more and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

A search warrant was then executed at his residence in Fort Myers on Treasure Oak Way. Inside the home deputies found 8,642 grams of cocaine, 726 grams of THC cartridges, and $109,800 in cash. He was charged with Sale or Delivery of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent.

In May 2025, the defendant was pulled over by a Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper in Lehigh Acres. He was driving a BMW with dark tint and had an expired car registration. The defendant, who was sweating profusely and acting erratic, according to the FHP Trooper, said he could not provide his current address or social security number. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office was contacted to bring a K-9 Deputy to the scene and the K-9 alerted to drugs in the car.

Inside the car was a large bag, which had been within reach of the defendant, with multiple pre-labeled packages of marijuana inside labeled “Nerdz.” There was also a can of tire and wheel cleaner that had a false bottom on it. The can unscrewed and multiple baggies of cocaine were inside and Oxycodone pills. There was a total of 23 baggies of cocaine. The defendant claimed he had been renting the car for a couple of weeks. He was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine – 28 grams or more and Trafficking in Illegal Drugs – 4 grams or more.

Today he was adjudicated guilty on all of the above charges as part of his sentencing.
