20th Judicial Circuit: Lowest Crime Rate for 6th Year in a Row

The newly released Florida Uniformed Crime Report System (UCR) for 2017, issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement reports that the 20th Judicial Circuit of Florida has the lowest crime rate among all 20 Circuits in the State of Florida for the 6th year in a row. The UCR is produced annually by FDLE in Tallahassee from data submitted statewide. 

“The State Attorney’s Office strives, every day, to protect and keep the approximately 1.3 million residents we serve safe through our great partnership with all of our excellent law enforcement agencies throughout Southwest Florida as well as with the assistance of our many law abiding citizens,” said State Attorney Steve Russell. 

The State Attorney’s Office 20th Judicial Circuit covers Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee Counties.
