Child Abuse and Battery Case

Harry Kaltsounis, 62, of Cape Coral plead guilty today to one count of Child Abuse and one count of Battery for actions he did on two teenage girls who worked for him at a business.

He sexually harassed the girls during their summer job by rubbing on their bodies, requiring them to wear very short shorts, kissing them and embarrassing them in front of other employees.

The charges filed involve acts likely to cause physical or mental injury to a child. Assistant State Attorney Francine Donnorummo, Chief of the Special Victims Unit, handled the case.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 1st. This plea agreement allows the defendant to be prosecuted without the victims having to go through a trial. Kaltsounis faces up to 5 years of incarceration.
