Convicted: Drug Sale and Possession

Jerry Lee Logan, 42, was found guilty as charged of Sale of Cannabis Within 1,000 Feet of a Place of Worship and Possession of Marijuana (Not More than 20 Grams) following a two day trial in Hendry County.

Logan sold four individually packaged baggies of marijuana to a confidential informant from his home in Clewiston in February 2017. The home on Commerico Drive is located approximately 500 feet from one church and approximately 800 feet from another.

He faces up to 15 years in prison at his sentencing on October 5th. Assistant State Attorneys Mitchell Cooper and Abe Thornburg prosecuted the case.
