False Imprisonment

Kristopher Haddock was sentenced to the maximum of 5 years in prison for False Imprisonment as well as given maximum supervision of 5 years of state probation for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon for a crime in Lehigh Acres.

In June 2016 a woman was handcuffed, threatened with a knife and dragged through his house during her ordeal. She was eventually able to escape and get help from a neighbor.

The day of trial call, Assistant State Attorney Tyler Lovejoy was in court for the case when the defendant decided to plea straight to the judge. A defendant can forgo a jury trial and ask the court to be sentenced.

Haddock, 30, was also given credit time served for a charge of Domestic Violence Battery.
