Today the State Attorney’s Office received notice that the Second District Court of Appeal has affirmed the conviction of Fred Cooper. Cooper was convicted of killing Michelle and Steven Andrews in their Fort Myers home in 2005. He was sentenced to life in prison.
“We are very pleased that the conviction of Fred Cooper has been upheld by the Second District Court of Appeal. We were confident it would have been but it is always good to get official word.”
