Today Blaine Edward Williams, 57, was found guilty as charged of two counts of Sexual Battery on a Child Less than 12 Years of Age, one count of Lewd or Lascivious Molestation, and one count of Lewd or Lascivious Battery following a three day trial in Lee County. He faces up to life in prison at his sentencing on June 11th.
Between 2007 and 2013 Williams sexually abused, molested, and raped the victim in Lee County. The abuse started when the victim was approximately 6 years old and continued until she was 12 years old.
She reported the abuse in 2016 to a school guidance counselor who reported it to Lee County Sheriff’s deputies.
Assistant State Attorney Natalie Savino of our Special Victim’s Unit and Assistant State Attorney Erin Hughes prosecuted the case.
