Today Saul Deleon Mendez, 30, was found guilty as charged of Sexual Battery following a three day trial in Collier County.
In May 2017, Mendez had been drinking and tried to force the victim to have sex with him at a home in Naples. When she refused he used his hand and forcefully sexually assaulted her while children were sleeping in the same room.
Mendez faces up to 15 years in prison at his sentencing on June 12th. He remains in custody at the Collier County jail.
