State Attorney’s Office Event

Please join us Saturday, May 9th for the 13th Annual State Attorney’s Office Law Enforcement Appreciation Day Softball Tournament and Event. It is at the CenturyLink Sports Complex next to Hammond Stadium in Lee County.

Gates open to the public at 8 a.m. and admission is free. The event ends at 6 p.m. You can watch law enforcement go head to head in the Battle of the Badges as they play to win one of two titles. Law enforcement agencies from across Southwest Florida are participating.

The public can watch the games, participate in sponsor booths, and buy raffle tickets. Incredible items have been donated by area businesses, from vacation packages to jewelry. All of the proceeds go to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers. There will also be carnival games for children as well as food and drink vendors.

This event was started by State Attorney Steve Russell to provide law enforcement officers and their families a free day of fun. It is also a chance for the public to meet and greet the men and women who dedicate their lives to keeping them safe.

We have many media opportunities. Please contact me if you want to set up a live shot so I can advise on parking.
