Today State Attorney’s Office Investigators arrested Kenneth M. Marwick, from Bonita Springs, and Charles Bennett III, from Naples, for one count each of First Degree Grand Theft following an extensive investigation by the State Attorney’s Office.
Each is accused of taking money and/or property from the Lovers Key Beach Club and Resort Condominium Association, Inc. from 2006 through 2008. The embezzlement is close to $300,000.
First Degree Grand Theft is a felony and is punishable by up to 30 years in prison. Marwick has been booked into the Lee County Jail and Bennett has been booked into the Collier County Jail. Both face the charges in Lee County.
