Monday the State Attorney’s Office filed a Notice of Intent to Seek the Death Penalty in the case against Joseph Adam Zieler.
On November 3rd the Lee County Grand Jury met and indicted Zieler on two counts of First Degree Murder for the murders of R.C., 11 and Lisa Story, 32.
In addition, the State Attorney’s Office has filed charges of Sexual Battery on a Child Less Than 12 Years of Age, Sexual Battery with a Deadly Weapon or Great Force, and First Degree Burglary with Assault or Battery.
